Hi all,
Yesterday Rob Hyatt and I pulled the cobwebs off the trap netting gear in preparation for the imminent 2014 walleye restocking run at Wasi Falls. This is the time for all you folks who expressed an interest in lending a hand with the fish wrangling and other duties to let us know you're still interested! The Wasi Falls walleye run is a special opportunity to see fish you might not ever encounter during open season and to be involved in the process of harvesting and culturing the eggs for the year's brood stock.
Presently, there is a large shard of open water in front of Wasi Falls which means it won't be long now, maybe a few weeks tops.
If you're interested in lending a hand, please email us at: admin@lnsa.net and leave your contact info so we can reach you when the timing is right.
Also remember....The LNSA Public General Meeting is next Thursday, May 1st 2014, 7pm at the Callander Community Center. If you have any questions regarding either the general meeting or the volunteering, please email us at: admin@lnsa.net. Come on out and get involved!
Dan Colomby / LNSA Stay tuned for updates on the Wasi Falls conditions!
